As stated in the revalidation letter, the supplier has 60 days from the postmark on the letter to complete the revalidation information via Internet-based PECOS or download and submit a completed CMS 855S along with all required documentation. If the information is not received timely, the supplier is subject to inactivation of its billing privileges.
If a supplier is unable to submit the revalidation within 60 days, the NSC may issue the supplier a one-time 60-day extension. Suppliers may request the extension by contacting the NSC Customer Service Line at 866-238-9652. This gives the suppliers over four months to complete and submit the revalidation information to the NSC.
