TIBCO Transition Dates
As previously communicated Palmetto GBA will begin transitioning submitters from using File Transfer Protocol (FTP) to Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) in order to add an additional layer of security. As a result, the current web interface and RAPS Direct Data Entry (DDE) functionalities will be decommissioned on August 4, 2018.
Beginning 8/4/18 and thereafter, file submissions and report returns will occur via port 22 in the TIBCO mailbox for all Encounter X12 transactions. CMS highly recommends testing the new command line process via port 22 now as outlined in the Medicare Advantage Communications Handbook.
The transition dates to SFTP via port 22 for Encounter, RAPS and PDE submissions will occur on the following dates:
August 4, 2018 Medicare Encounter including MMP
August 25, 2018 RAPS including MMP
September 15, 2018 PDE including MMP
