Internet Quality Improvement and Evaluation System (iQIES) Known Issues

Did you know that there was a website for Internet Quality Improvement and Evaluation System (iQIES) Known Issues?

Beginning in 2020, State Survey Agencies started using an internet-based system for survey functions known as iQIES. iQIES will replace and consolidate functionality from the QIES, CASPER and ASPEN legacy systems.

For example, according to the iQIES Known Issues web page, some home health agencies that use the iQIES user tool to create and submit their OASIS assessments, suppliers were having their claims sent to the Return to Provider (RTP) file with reason code 37253 for claims submitted between January and April 2020. 

This issue was resolved on May 6, 2020. This type of information will be reported on the iQIES Known Issues log.
