eServices Status Dashboard Displays Aging ADR Alerts

Welcome to the eServices Additional Documentation Requests (ADR) Status Dashboard. With this enhancement, Part B providers who have ADR requests older than 30 and 40 days will be alerted of pending requests from the eServices homepage. Users must have access to Secure Forms to view the ADR Status Widget and the details on the Pending ADR Dashboard.

The ADR Status widget provides three viewing options:

  • Pending > 40 days
  • Pending > 30 days
  • Pending - Total

Note: If there are no pending ADRs, the ADR Status field will be blank or show zero.

To see more details about the pending ADRs, a user can select the widget option to navigate to the new ADR dashboard to view pending claims. 

ADR Pending Claims Dashboard

Users can access the Pending ADR Dashboard by selecting either the ADR Status Widget on the homepage or the ADR tab. The dashboard will have the ADRs organized in tabs by the number of days the ADR claims have been pending. To view pending requests, select the tab with corresponding pending days (40, 30 total). The following information will be displayed:

  • Claim Number (ICN)
  • Medicare ID of beneficiary
  • Number of days pending
  • Action link for response/submission

Responding to ADRs

For your convenience, the Response option can be used to submit the MR ADR form directly from the dashboard. When Response is selected, the user will be navigated to the MR ADR form. The MBI and ICN fields on the form will be prepopulated with the information from the Pending ADR dashboard.

Failure to Respond to ADR Request

eServices will display the following message for ADR Pending Claims:

If you received an Additional Documentation Request (ADR) for one or more claims, please send the requested documentation or an extension request within 45 days. If this information is not received, the review determination of the claim(s) will be denied as not reasonable and necessary.
